Request a compliance related response from the Building Standards Branch in relation to a specific property. This service is usually requested by lawyers for the purposes of a real estate transaction. Requests cost $150 plus a 2.25 % service fee, which will be charged once payment is confirmed by the Town's third-party payment provider.
Please allow up to 10 business days for your request to be completed. The Lawyer Compliance Letter does not include permitted uses or development standards. Please submit a Preliminary Zoning Review application to obtain copies of the permitted uses or development standards for a property. To apply, please contact the Planning Branch.
If the request is for multiple units, please only submit one request. Refunds will not be made for multiple requests submitted under the same address but with separate unit numbers.
